In this transformative remodel, Jim Martin Design replaced a cramped, loft—once accessed by a narrow spiral staircase—with a custom-built second-story addition above the home’s existing garage. The result is a refined home office space that enhances both the form and function of the residence. Accessed via a stylish residential elevator, the new office offers a quiet, light-filled workspace with an open layout defined by a minimalist glass partition. Skylights flood the space with natural light, while warm wood flooring, rich wall textures, and custom built-ins create a welcoming and sophisticated environment.
